Power Connectors

The power connectors need for connecting the power carrying conductors to the equipment such as lighting Arresters. Air break Switches, Circuit Breakers, Bus Bars etc.

Design Features :

Outdoor connectors are suitable to carry load systems current under severe condition like surges short circuit line faults etc. The connectors are manufactured for voltage up to 800KV and currents up to 4000Amp.

1. Rigid Connector

A Connecter which does not allow any relative movement with respect to conductors bus bar 
2. Parallel groove Connector Connects two or more conductors whose axis are parallel to each other.
3. Tee Connector Used for right angle connection
4. Bimetallic 

For connections between dis-similar metals such as copper to aluminum Bimetallic plates prevents galvanic corrosion.
5. Flexible connector  A connector which allows a predefined maximum relative movement with respect to conductors | Bus bas.
6. Compression type connector. A connector in which the conductors are press fitted with connector 
7. The connectors are designed such that it can withstand the load during services condition

Mechanicla and electrical features

The bolting arrangement is designed such that it can apply uniform pressure over the whole surface of the connector For bimetallic connectors a uniform pressure is maintained throughout the length of the connector and cold flow avoided.
